Evan was born and raised in Iowa and graduated from the University of Missouri in 2018 with his Doctorate of Physical Therapy. He has been practicing in outpatient sports and orthopedics since then, and is passionate about sports rehabilitation and performance.

Evan enjoys partnering with his patients through hands on treatment, education, and focused exercise to improve function and performance. He takes an individualized approach to identifying dysfunctional movement patterns and addressing the underlying causes.

His athletic background is in swimming and triathlon, and when not in the clinic he is usually swimming, biking or running. He is a certified USA triathlon coach and has several years experience as a swim and triathlon coach.

When not training for triathlon he enjoys hiking and camping, playing intramural dodgeball and kickball, bikepacking, coaching endurance athletes, eating pancakes, and cheering on the Green Bay Packers.

Mali is originally from Wisconsin and received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She brings experience in orthopedic and sports physical therapy as well as a background in coaching endurance athletes. Mali is certified in dry needling. Jordan is grew up in the mountains of Colorado and, after spending ten years on the east coast for, she returned to complete her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at the University of Colorado. Her clinical experience includes working with orthopedic, neurologic, and pelvic conditions.

She specializes in working with pelvic floor conditions including pelvic pain, bowel and bladder dysfunctions, prolapse, abdominal pain, and pregnancy and postpartum care. She is thrilled to bring her knowledge and experience to the Build team.

Jordan grew up skiing in Colorado and took up yoga and climbing once she graduated from college. Her love and curiosity about movement led her to PT school. Since graduating in 2020, she has pursed post-graduate education in pelvic health through Herman and Wallace, and takes a full body approach to treatment in order to find the root of the problem.

Larry attributes his biomechanics expertise to his commitment to education and 13 years of experience as an orthopedic and sports medicine physical therapist. Nine years ago, Larry began to develop his biomechanics expertise through formal medical bike fit training at the Boulder Center for Sports Medicine. In 2013, he continued to pursue his passion for movement analysis, by gaining advanced certification in lower extremity function and running gait analysis. By educating his clients and listening to their needs, Larry’s goal is to build a highly respected and science based biomechanics practice specifically for cyclists and runners. Sue has over 30 years of physical therapy experience with diverse patient populations. She has spent the past 20 years specializing in orthopedic, sports, and spine rehabilitation. Sue spent the last several years working at Boulder Center for Sports Medicine and most recently at CU Sports Medicine and Performance Center.

Sue is a skilled manual therapist with a passion for integrating Functional Dry Needling into her practice. She received her dry needling certification in 2006 and has been teaching for EIM/Kinetacore since 2009. She is currently a Lead Instructor and teaches FDN courses throughout the US and Canada. Sue has earned her Advanced Functional Dry Needling Specialist Certification in 2020. Sue completed a certification for Fascial Subcutaneous Dry Needling that she uses in conjunction with FDN. She feels strongly that dry needling is a strong neurophysiological reset to help her patients recover from injury and can facilitate performance. She is a sought-after expert in dry needling for patients with a wide range of diagnosis and injuries.

Sue has a strong commitment to learn and continues to evolve her skill set by taking PT courses that enrich her experience level. Her practice motto is to look at each clients’ individual full body issues and assist them to reach their goals.

Mia has over 20 years experience treating just about any type of patient! She has spent most of her career in orthopedics and loves digging deeper to find the underlying cause of a patient’s symptoms. She has been a Dry Needling specialist for over 12 years and loves implementing this tool to facilitate change in movement patterns and pain. She also enjoys teaching this technique to clinicians around the US and Canada. Mia enjoys spending time with her two daughters, husband and crazy doodles hiking, biking, skiing, snowshoeing and anything outdoors.
