Zz has an extensive history in coaching and strength training. Her interest in the science of training began as a track and field athlete at Purdue University where she was a double major in Kinesiology and Organizational Leadership and Supervision.
Zz continued her education at the University of Montana with a Master’s in Exercise Science. Throughout this time she worked as a graduate assistant strength and conditioning coach and completed research on prosthetic blade running mechanics. Her extensive knowledge in biomechanics and human physiology has earned her positions as the assistant director of sports performance for the University of Houston, Mississippi State University, University of Cincinnati, University of Notre Dame, University of Montana, Purdue University, and the Cincinnati Bengals.
She has experience coaching athletes from a variety of sports including football, cross country, track and field, cheerleading, golf, volleyball, soccer, ice hockey, softball, swimming and diving, basketball, and tennis.
Zz is an avid runner herself and trains for both half and full marathons. Along with an extensive training routine, Zz has her own run coaching business and is an assistant track and field coach at Centaurus High School.
